Football First Fundraising is a Community Interested Company.

A Community Interested Company (CIC) is "a new type of limited company designed specifically for those wishing to operate for the benefit of the community rather than for the benefit of the owners of the company. This means that a CIC cannot be formed or used solely for the personal gain of a particular person, or group of people" (source: www.cicregulator.gov.uk).

Football First Fundraising was established by Kevin McAdam in October 2010 and it's purpose is to raise money to help local children in the Dumfries & Galloway region. It hopes to give help to children of all ages through the provision of football coaching, equipment and facilities.

We are fortunate to have the support and encouragement of a wide range of people within the local community. In particular, Craig Brown - current manager of Aberdeen FC and former manager of the Scotland national football team - has been keen to support our efforts.
